What Is Formadrain?

By 21 September 2022Winnipeg plumbers

Finding out that your pipes need repairs—or worse, replacement—can really cast a shadow over your day.  Not only is pipework expensive, but it usually also entails a huge amount of mess and hassle in the form of digging.

Whether your pipes are residential, commercial, or industrial, chances are that you’re not excited about the prospect of hiring a crew to dig up your property.

But wait!  What if there was a trenchless solution for pipe rehabilitation projects?  A no-dig solution that was safe, durable, and endorsed by your plumber?

Well, guess what?  There is!  And it is called Formadrain.

Read on to find out more about this fantastic product and why Clean Line Sewer & Drain is proud to be the only plumbing service in Manitoba offering such an advanced wastewater and process pipe solution.

How Does Formadrain Work?

Formadrain technology uses epoxy and fiberglass to create durable pipe liners that are either pushed or pulled into place through your old blocked or damaged pipes.  The liners are flexible and can negotiate T’s, Y’s, and bends of up to 90 degrees.  After being installed, they are steam-cured into place—a quick and simple process that generally doesn’t exceed two hours.

Formadrain products go beyond being just pipe liners.  Instead, they provide a whole new structural and durable pipe installed without the expense, disruption, and possible damage of digging

Impressed?  So are we.  And that’s why we at Clean Line are proud to provide Manitoba’s only pipe lining services using Formadrain.

When Can You Use Formadrain?

Formadrain is the perfect solution for all types of conduits.  It’s fast, economical, durable, and ecological to boot.  A win-win!

Aside from the obvious perks of Formadrain being a no-dig solution, it’s also versatile and can be used for many types of pipe repairs, including sewers, storm pipes, electrical conduits, and more.

Whether you’ve been told your rainwater leaders are broken, your plumbing vents are damaged, your sanitary columns need repair, or your industrial process piping needs an upgrade, Formadrain has got you covered.

If you’re not sure whether or not Formadrain is appropriate for your particular plumbing issue, one of our professional Clean Line plumbers will be happy to assist you in determining the best solution.  In most cases, Formadrain is a great option!
